Turmeric Latte for Endometriosis

Turmeric latte is also known as a golden tea. It is a drink that provides certain health benefits as well as benefits for endometriosis:
Endometriosis can cause what is called, "endo belly", which is painful bloating. This is likely due to inflammation. Curcumin is the primary component of Turmeric which is known to reduce inflammation in the body and act as an antioxidant. Of late, I have replaced by morning coffee with a hot cup of homemade organic turmeric latte. Caffeine is also known to cause inflammation in the body, and it is usually advised to cut back on coffee when you have endometriosis. Inflammation, to a certain extent, is good for the body as it is one of the bodies healing techniques, but too much can cause pain and other complications. Below is a recipe I think many can enjoy as a healthier alternative to coffee.
Turmeric Latte
Serves 2
5 minutes

Ingredients:
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
cinnamon powder 1 tsp
ginger powder x 2 pinches
black pepper powder x 2 pinches
raw honey 2 tsp
1 vanilla stick / 1 tsp of vanilla essence (whichever you prefer)
600 ml of milk/ coconut milk/ almond milk / oat milk (whichever you prefer)
Step 1
Bring the milk to a simmer on high heat.
Step 2
Add all ingredients and mix.
Step 3
Stir gently for 3 minutes while simmering. Bring down the heat to prevent boiling.
Step 4
Pour and enjoy!
